On the morning of April 30, 2002, Mei Huawen, Vice General Manager of Production Technology of Netis and winner of the provincial May 1st Labor Medal, delivered a speech on his work experience and the development of the Company at the May 1st Labor Model Forum held by Pingxiang Municipal Committee of the CPC. Chen min, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, held his hand and expressed greetings. In particular, he praised the “party building + model worker + production and operation” mode of Netis. In the first quarter of this year, the Company’s production and operation increased significantly, contributing to the “good start” of the city’s industry. He also encouraged the Company to achieve the annual output value of RMB100 million.
As the May Day holiday approaches, Xie Yue, Chairman and General Manager of Jiangxi Netis Systems Co., Ltd., is concerned about the arrangement of the May Day holiday for employees staying in the factory. In order to enrich everyone’s holiday life and relieve their work pressure, he studied with Yang LiuDi, Secretary of the Party Branch and Vice Chairman of the board of directors, and decided to proposed that the Trade Union should organize a “relaxing, happy, positive, safe and team spirit consolidating” team development activity for employees to carry forward the spirit of model workers.

Meeting beautiful scenery in May Day outing !
Our smiling faces are as bright as spring flowers;

The Party Branch and the Trade Union of the Company immediately set up a leading group for the May Day activity, defined the purpose and program, and carried out the activity in an orderly and safe manner while doing a good job in epidemic prevention.
On May 2, a total of 75 employees and their families of the Company gathered in front of the complex building. Ke Changjin, Chairman of the Trade Union, conveyed the concern of the group leaders and the Trade Union for employees in the holiday, and briefed the activities. Yang Liudi emphasized the organizational division, teamwork and safety issues. The slogans “we come from all over the country, and take root in Jiangxi Netis” and “promoting the spirit of model workers, contributing the strength of Netis” were particularly eye-catching.
Part 2 Set Out for the Development Base in Xiangyue Muchong!
After the team was assembled, more than ten vehicles drove to Muchong Development Base in Chishan Town, and activities were carried out according to the established program and plan after our arrival.

1 Building Teams
The Peacock Team, Flying Dragon Team, Tiger Team and Assault Team were established by random grouping. The team flags, emblems, songs and slogans were prepared, and team leaders were democratically elected. Each team appeared on the stage, with high aspirations, loud songs and neat slogans, heightening the atmosphere at the site ......
2 Gone in 60 Seconds
“Next, we’re going to start the Gone in 60 Seconds section. Each pair of members are required to find out the cards in numerical order within 60 seconds. The team leader should stands in the circle, and team members should help to find out the cards in order and give them to the team leader. The team finds the most cards in the shortest time will get the best score...” The instructor explained the rules of the activity carefully, while the team members under the stage listened attentively.
Graphics, words, geography, history, animals and literature are used to hide the numbers on the 50 cards. In the warm-up link, team members took photos while watching. Then they returned to the team to brainstorm to get the numbers on the cards, which tested the knowledge and understanding ability of the whole team. It required the team members to work together to find the most cards within the specified time.
After three rounds of competition, the Tiger Team and Assault Team tied for the first place in the Gone in 60 Seconds section.
3 Floor Curling
In the floor curling section, each team got ready for the warm-up and selected eight players. Under the guidance of team leaders, the players pushed out their curlers, cheering up to encourage each other. After two rounds, the Tiger Team won the first place in the floor curling section.
“Every team member has the potential to become a counterattacker”, said the family members of employees watching the game.
“Wow! It’s amazing!” Screams came from the site.
It turned out that our big brother Lan Wencai had a game changing play at the critical moment, which completely shocked everyone on the site.
4 Archery Competition
The instructor announced the archery competition rules: “Each team selects 5 members, each member will be given with 4 arrows. 10 points will be given if archer hits 10 rings, 9 points for 9 rings, and so on. No score will be given if the archer fails to hit the target. The team with the highest score wins. All archers should follow orders and pay attention to safety”.
After practice, each team recommended players based on the overall situation. “For the honor of the team, go ahead”, “I have served the army. I have the experience. Let me try.” Team members encouraged each other.
“Hold the bow tightly, keep the arrow steady, and then pull the string.” Huang Yongliang shared his experience patiently with his partners.

As the referee reported the score, cheers came from the site.
After fierce competition, the Tiger Team won the first place again.
After the archery activity, the instructor summarized the team development activity that “From the results of today’s activities, the Tiger Team won the first place in points and the Assault Team won the second. From the whole process and results, Netis employees formed a discipline abiding team with excellent style and mutual cooperation. I hope that from today’s activities, everyone would deeply understand the importance of team cooperation, the significance of fighting spirit and team objectives, and apply the gains obtained from the team development activities to work. I hope that this activity will help you excavate the internal potential of employees, enhance internal cohesion of the team and employees’ sense of identity with the Company, and realize the spirit of working hand in hand and surpassing selves”.
After the team development activities, the picnic began.
“Today, I’m responsible for coordinating the preparation of dishes. Luo Wenke will help with the supply of firewood and lighting fire, and Li Hui will help with washing and cutting vegetables. I and other chefs will carry out specific coordination and task arrangement after coming down.” Lan Wencai reported the next work plan and resource arrangement to Mei Huawen.
Under the unified command of Lan Wencai, the “chefs” worked according to the arrangement. Female employees and children started to wash the vegetables. Male employees picked up the firewood and lit the fire. Everyone was working skillful. What a busy scene!
In particular, children participated in the washing of vegetables conscientiously, barbecued what they wanted to eat, and felt the joy of enjoying the fruits of their labour.
Love labor and start from an early age. Look, what I washed is the cleanest! Look, I washed the most! Children were experiencing the joy of doing things by themselves.
Mr. Mei’s command, beautiful melodies and songs came from the mobile stereo from time to time.
A symphony of pots and pans was played in the simple picnic base.
The chefs stood in front of the four earthen stoves, cooking in a planned way. The boys were standing in front of the stoves to add firewood, girls were chirping around the stoves, delivering and receiving dishes. What a wonderful scene of a banquet in the countryside. Delicious dishes are the most soothing!

More than a dozen tables were arranged in a long line, and dishes with different colors and flavors were placed on the tables. The long array of dishes were the labor results of everyone through division of labor and cooperation. Behind it was the labor effort of everyone’ preparation for several days and labour work on the site.
What delicious dishes! Our mouths are watery!
Before the dinner, Mei Huawen said emotionally: “The day before yesterday I participated in the model worker forum organized by the Municipal Party Committee as a winner of the provincial May Day Labor Medal, and I would like to take this opportunity to share my feelings with you. It is the second venture of Netis to settle in Pingxiang. The development of the Company can not be separated from the support of the Party Committee and government, the hard work of group leaders, and all employees. Labor achieves good days. We should take root in Netis and dedicate ourselves. We should have a strong physique and a spirit of cooperation and dedication. Unity and cooperation make the greatest strength. Everyone did really good in today’s activity. I firmly believe that with everyone’s hard work and dedication, the road of Netis will get wider and wider, and the development of Netis will become better and better. I hope that everyone will roll up sleeves and work hard, carry forward the spirits of model workers, labor and craftsman, and develop together with the Company! ”
Beautiful melodies were sounding with clear songs; a symphony of pots and pans was playing on the stove, arousing our appetite; firewood was add, and dishes were delivering, what a busy scene.
With the order of Ke Changjin, Chairman of the Trade Union, everyone sat on both sides of the long table and started to enjoy the dishes. Some drank happily, some ate with large bowls. What a happy time!
Drinking freely after working is a consolation for sweat and hard work, and a reward for a good day. Everyone held up their glasses, tasted good wine and food, and enjoyed the fruits of their hard work!
With food full in stomachs, we did not forget to clean the site!
“We represent Netis. Clean up the site after dinner. We should not leave a bad influence. It will affect the image of Netis”, Liu Jie said while cleaning up the waste water ditches.
Trash can were empties and desks were cleaned. We left a clean environment.
After the dinner, everyone got together to climb the landslide, sing and dance.
Yang LiuDi, Vice Chairman of the board of directors and Secretary of the Party Branch of the Company, said: “It’s a rare opportunity to play with children. Family member of Netis employees are also family members of the Company. It’s very kind to see these children, as if they were my children. Everyone was active in today’s activity. Employees participate in the activity of the Company with their families will enhance the cohesion of the Company, and the sense of their belonging to the Company. Today, we all experience happiness in our labour work and gather strength in our activities. In the future, the Trade Union should organize and prepare for more such collective activities to build a bridge to link the Party Branch, the Company and employees. Standing on the land of Muchong, with the breeze blowing gently, we looked up to enjoy the sunset and the relaxing holiday.
On the May Day holiday with warm sunshine of spring, we dispelled the haze of the epidemic with laughter, and experienced the joy of labor. We enjoy our happy life, happy work, our cohesion and unity. We are family!
